New Gocco cards available!

I have been back at my Print Gocco machine!!

I spent some time brainstorming on images that would be perfect for many occasions or celebrations and came up with these!

Kewpie babies are what I am calling them, cute little 40's styled kids waving and giggling. I combined a bunch of colors on a variety of papers to create a whole series of cards.

Guitar Man, this image was hand drawn by me during a classical guitar concert. It is called a blind contour drawing;a drawing done by only looking at the subject and not the paper. It is very insightful as to how you are "seeing" your drawing subject. I have also printed this image on a variety of papers for a cool series.

New tees hot of the press!!

I have been brainstorming of what I could make to satisfy the older kids and not play on something that was already "branded" I wanted to make something universal to both boys and girls. No logos or fillers or flavors...

I came up with appliqued tees:

I even had the nephew of a neighbor (7 years old) come over after they were done, to rate them; after I received a "thumbs up" I went ahead and added them to the shop!
Kid approved!!

I am hoping to make more, and would even be willing to make them in "bigger kid" sizes for us "more grown up" kids.

Monster friends

As soon as I can get a model or two I will be posting this and hopefully others in my shop.

These shirts are sized 6-8 so little men can wear them proudly and know they always have a friend with them.

New items in the works!

In recent meetings with fans of The Bird & The Bean, I have been hearing that I am "light in boy items"; so I brainstormed and I think I have come up with some ideas.



With my nephews and friends boys in mind, I am working on items that will compliment their rough and tumble curiosity as well as keep them at the top of the cool kids list!

Let's Draw!!

I have been making all sorts of custom items and gifts for friends and family.


I made a new item for my nephew (he turns 3 this weekend) and thought, this would be great for the shop. This is AJ's gift
So...introducing the newest item to hit The Bird & The Bean shop:
Crayon and Drawing paper rolls!

I have made mine a little bigger and they can hold markers, pens, pencils or crayons!

My mom always supplied my brother and I with paper and pens when we went anywhere that traditionally bores kids. I loved being able to zone out and draw and color.

These rolls allow kids to always have supplies on hand and let the creative juices flow wherever they are.

Custom Blankets

Blankets always make a great baby shower gift; and they go great with my double-tie top baby outfits!

I received a custom request for a larger blanket with satin border.

My customer simply gave me a color preference and I went from there, complete creative freedom!

I choose some great graphic colors that would work for a baby or a toddler.

Here is the finished piece with the gift bag it shipped in.
